So life has been pretty chill, can’t complain too much even through all this Covid bullshit. Not that complaining really gets anything done, but sometimes it does make me feel better. But overall things are good. Trill has been getting all her loves, she love Ross more I’m sure of it. Zaph has been getting all the best rest…

Freya has been enjoying walks and outings. She made me stop by the river this morning, which turned out very nice. We did some meditating. Gorgeous morning.

We took Dad to the Veteran’s diner down in Rome on his birthday. He got his picture taken for the wall, he was super excited.

And we did some redecorating around the house too. Getting the place all arranged just right. Bright and happy.

Overall it’s been a really good…little while haha. Happy things to think about and focus on. ^_^ Keep going and being safe and kind everyone!

Little trip to Mentone

We took a little trip up to Mentone with Freya, she needs more little walks out and about so this was a perfect little space to take her. It’s a little area by the library with a 1/4 mile track around the fence, through some musical statues, and by a cool looking painted building. Freya enjoyed it and we enjoyed looking through the art work, some of these posts were really very cool looking. I can’t wait for the library itself to open back up, a neighbor said that they allow dogs to come in and there are plenty of people of the evening that Freya could visit with. I’m excited to have more places to take her, plus more getting out of the house in general. This was a nice little excursion and we will probably go there quite often as the weather allows, it was only a little ways up from the house so it makes for an easy trip. This girl right here! I know she’s technically not my dog, she’s totally Ross’s, but she’s definitely my cuddle buddy. I mean look at this! She’s just so snuggly! All she wants is cuddles, and maybe beef jerky. Well, definitely beef jerky. And she is convinced everyone is on this planet to pet her and give her all the love. She has rarely met a stranger, and loves to play with other dogs…so long as they’re her size or smaller. Bigger dogs make her nervous, even when they’re super chill and calm. She’s the type of soul I want to be more like. If you haven’t noticed this is really just an appreciation post about this pretty pupper. So enjoy some more pictures of how awesome she is and go about enjoying your day. Be kind and mask up!

Good gracious

To say that this has been a busy month is an understatement. I’ve been clogged up with work, class, training, day to day chores. Nuts. Now that the holidays are in full swing I’m working every minute of 40 hours at the least, and often easing further into overtime. I’m prepping for the finals I have coming up in 2 weeks now, finally finished with the day to day of classes…papers…quizzes…all that jazz. That took up a decent portion of most of my days. The day to day is busy because now my parents’ storage shed is in and I’ve been planning things to move up to it to clear out the house a bit. Ross has been in a funk of depression thanks to it just being cyclical and that time coming up, and because of things with his ex and kid. He just feels such stress and isolation from his kid and it wears on him. So I’m trying to be supportive and encouraging on that front, and not too frustrated for the days he doesn’t have the energy to get anything done at home. Then there’s the added stress of the guy who owns this area and the landscaping, he was suppose to do a set amount of work for me and claims it’s done but only half of what I asked for has been finished. It’s been a month of struggling with him. And covid is still a thing, we just found out that Judah has been exposed and he has been here a couple days….so now it’s a wait and see game with that. So do we still go to work, do we wait, do we test. Things have just been nuts. So yea, in a nutshell that’s been the month of November. There will be other detailed posts about various things coming up this week, I just wanted to kind of recap things overall. Explain my absence haha. Ok, time to go write and schedule those posts! hahaha! Oh what a day off. ^_- Ok go be safe and wear masks and wash hands and Happy Turkey Day!
